TVK-600 Configuration Manual

Serial port settings using the browser

The Serial Port Settings menu allows you to set the parameters of the keypad’s RS-485
serial port.

This menu is only available to the administrator.

To set up the RS-485 parameters:

1. In the keypad browser, go to

Serial Port Settings

and click the

RS-485

tab.

Select the desired parameters for the RS-485: address bit, baud rate, data bit, stop
bit, parity, and protocol. The protocol options are PELCO-P, PELCO-D, and ILX-
485.

2. Click

Save

to save the settings.
