System management using the browser
The System Management menu lets you via the browser check the keypad version,
manage users, and restore factory default settings, upgrade firmware, reboot the
device, and import/export the device’s configuration settings.
This menu is only available to the administrator.
Version information
You can quickly see the firmware, core, panel, hardware, and web versions used by the
keypad under the
System Management
>
Version
menu.
You can also see the keypad’s license agreement under
System Management
>
Version
>
About
and click
View Licenses
.
User management
You can add and delete a user, add and delete devices associated with a user, and
change the user password. You can have a maximum of 1 administrator and 15
operators.
Passwords can have a maximum of eight characters and can only consist of numbers
and letters. No special characters or spaces are permitted.
To add a new user:
1. In the keypad browser, go to
System Management
>
User Management
.
2. Click
Add
to a new user. The
Add User
window appears.
