TVK-600 Configuration Manual

Serial port

This menu lets connect to an analog dome camera or a recorder using the RS-485 port.

When you select “Copy All”, the RS-485 settings are copied to all other RS-485 devices
connected to the keypad.

Hardware

This menu lets you set the auto-logoff and backlight functions.

When auto-logoff is enabled, the keypad automatically logs out if it has not been used
for 30 minutes. The backlight can be set to Open (always on), 5 min., 10 min., 30 min.,
or 60 min.

Time

Use this menu to set time. You can set the year, month, date, time format, hour, minute
and second.

Maintenance

Use this menu to upgrade the device, import and export configuration files, and return
the keypad to default settings.

The file format of the firmware update is

tvk600.dav

. The file format of the config file is

kbCfg.bin

.

Connect a USB flash drive to the keypad before upgrading, or importing/exporting files.
The upgrade file and config file must be located on the root directory of the USB flash
drive.
