TVK-600 Configuration Manual

3. Enter the new user name and password. All new users are operators only. Only the

administrator can change the operator name and password. Operators cannot
change their keypad password.

Note

: It is highly recommended that you use a strong password. See 9 page for

more information on how to create a strong password.

4. Select the linked devices that the user can access using the keypad.

5. Click

OK

to save the settings.

A window pops up confirming the linked devices that this user can access.

6. Click

OK

to confirm. The user is added to the list on the User Management window.

Click this icon to see all the linked devices accessible by this user.

To edit user parameters:

1. In the keypad browser, go to

System Management

>

User Management

.

2. From the list of users select the desired user and click

Edit

. The

Edit User

window

displays the user’s parameters.

3. Enter admin password.

4. Change the desired parameters, which can be the user password, and linked

devices. You can not change the user name or type.

Note

: If you change the password, it is highly recommended that you use a strong

password. See page 9 for more information on how to create a strong password.

5. Click

OK

to save the settings.

To delete a user:

1. In the keypad browser, go to

System Management

>

User Management

.

2. From the list of users select the desired user and click

Delete

.

3. Click

OK

in the pop-up window to confirm deletion. The user is immediately deleted.
