074-594-P1H Micro GC Fusion Operating Manual

6 Repeat steps 1-5 for sample lines to 2 IN filter, 3 IN filter, etc. until the desired

number of sample lines are connected.

7 Place a union fitting and ferrule onto a 1/16 in. OD stainless steel sample line.
8 Connect the 1/16 in. OD stainless steel tubing to the POS 1 VENT union on the

Valco stream selector.

9 While holding the union with a 1/4 in. wrench, use a 1/4 in. wrench to turn the

union fitting. Over-tighten by 1/2 turn to swage the union fitting and ferrule onto
the 1/16 in. sample line.

10 Loosen the union fitting and then tighten it again.
11 Repeat steps 7-9 to connect vent lines to POS 2 VENT, POS 3 VENT, etc. to the

corresponding venting lines.

If connecting a calibration gas, replace the vent line with a nut to prevent
wasting gas.

12 Connect the 1/16 in. OD stainless steel tubing to the OUT TO GC union.
