Monitor the TIC until it decreases to the initial background level that was noted

in Step 6.

Click the

Stop

button, in the center of the

Control Panel

on the right side of the

screen, to stop the sampling process. If it has not already been stopped

manually, the survey run will stop automatically when the run time has reached

five minutes.

Survey is a tentative identification. To confirm results, run an

Analyze

(GC/

MS) Method.

Record the data file name to reference for later review. See Data Review
