3. Locate the lamp.
The lamp is mounted in a housing at the bottom
of the analyser carriage. It fits from beneath the
housing. A cut-out is provided in the side of the
cabinet for ease of access:
Retaining
Spring Clip
Lamp Wire
Lamp
4. Release both sides of the spring clip which
retains the lamp.
The spring clip swings clear of the lamp after
release.
5. Carefully remove the lamp from its housing.
6. Unplug the spade connector at the other
end of the lamp wire.
Fitting the Lamp
Caution: Handle the lamp by its wire or holder so
as to avoid touching the bulb. If you
accidentally touch the bulb, discard it.
Caution: Mind your head on the lower part of the
optics casting while fitting the lamp.
