Using the

360

Scanner

Wait one minute after power-on before loading
Scan

Xact

on the Macintosh.

Scanning

Once the drum is fitted (see Chapter 2) and the door
is closed scanning can commence. When a scan is
requested (using the Scan

Xact

operating program)

the door automatically locks and the scan begins.
When all scanning is completed the drum stops, but
the door remains locked in case further scans are
required.

Opening the Door

To unlock the drum access door when the drum has
stopped rotating, press the Door Lock Button:

Door Lock Button

The Door Lock button allows you to lock and unlock
the drum access door.

The button is lit whenever the

360

scanner is

switched on. When it is red/green, the scanner is the
door unlocked. When it is green the the door is
locked.

The button can be used in three ways:

•

To lock the door ready to begin scanning.

The button is now green.
