Mounting Originals in the Quick

Mount

 Drum

3. Carefully insert the original inside the drum

so that its lower edge is held between the
flexible insert and the drum surface:

For transmission originals mount the original with
its emulsion side towards the drum whenever
possible. This helps prevent the formation of

Newton’s rings

 interference between the drum

surface and the original.
