Introduction

Caution: Damage can result if the SCSI signal

cable is connected or disconnected while
the scanner or Macintosh is powered on
or inadequately earthed. Carefully follow
the procedures given here to avoid such
damage.

Scanner
Connections

Three connections are needed for the

360

scanner:

the mains power cable, the SCSI signal cable for
communicating with the Macintosh and a serial link to
the Macintosh for monitoring the scanner computer.
All connectors are at the rear of the scanner inside
the lower grille opening:
