2. Carefully turn the drum by hand until the
drum release button is just to the left of the
straight ahead position. While gently
pressing on the button turn the drum
slightly until you find the position where
the button can be pressed fully in.

With the drum release button pressed fully in, the
drum hub is locked to prevent further rotation.
3. While holding the drum release button
depressed, grasp the drum boss firmly with
both hands and turn it to the right (anti-
clockwise viewed from above) through 20°
until the drum disengages from the hub:
