Drum Scanner User Manual

2. Choose PC Monitor from the View menu.

3. Press Return on the Macintosh and check

that the

360

Top Level Menu is displayed.

If not, there is a problem with your PC serial
connection. Do not continue until it is solved.

4. Open the lower door of the scanner and

insert the disk labelled ‘PC Program Disk 1
Scanner Software’ into the scanner floppy
disk drive.

5. Press the RESET button on the front of the

scanner computer unit.

The scanner installer program now loads. After
about 45 seconds the usual

360

Installation menu

appears in the PC Monitor window (see above).

6. Type P to return to the previous scanner

program.

Before restoring the previous program, you are
given the following confirmation prompt:

You chose to return to the

previous Scanner program. Is this

correct [Y,N]?

7. Type Y to confirm the operation.

The installer now swaps the current scanner
program and the backed up previous version.
Progress messages are shown in the PC Monitor
window. After a while the following prompt is
given:

Previous version restored

Remove disk and press reset to

restart scanner.
