360 Drum Scanner User Manual
Note: It is not essential to press the Door Lock
button before scanning. The 360 does
this automatically whenever a scan is
requested.
•
To take unlock the door at the end of
scanning.
The button is now red/green.

To stop the scanner while scanning is in
progress. The drum stops then the door is
unlocked.
Caution: If you do this it may be necessary to
turn off the scanner to reset it. Only do
it if it is essential to stop the scanner
quickly (if an original becomes detach-
ed from the drum for example).
Drum Door Interlock
The drum access door is fitted with a safety interlock
which prevents the door from being opened while
the drum is rotating and also stops the drum from
being turned electrically unless the door is fully
closed.
Warning: Do not attempt to override the
interlock for any reason.
Note: If you switch off the scanner while scanning
is in progress the drum access door will
remain locked even after the drum has
stopped rotating. To release the door, switch
on the scanner again.
