This section provides the MPEG specifications and commands
supported the Windows MPEG driver.

MPEG Clip Specification

The IBM MPEG driver supports the following MPEG clip
specifications:

MPEG2 HHR (Half-Horizontal Resolution) at NTSC resolution

– 352 x 480 x 30 frames/second
– Up to 4 Mbit per second bit rate

MPEG1 standard

ISO/IEC International Standard 11172-2 (11/93)

MPEG audio

Layer I, II

MCI Commands Supported by Windows MPEG Driver

The MCI (Media Control Interface) IBM MPEG driver supports a
subset of digital video type MCI command sets. All the commands
support test, notify, and wait. The commands currently supported by
this driver are:
