6.9 Recording/Schedule (edge)
In Recording/Schedule tab, the user can configure a number of actions in response to
detected camera events. The following events are supported and can be configured
in this setup tab: Alarm IN, Audio IN, Defocus, Tamper and Network events. Scheduled
events can also be configured. Active (arming) schedule can be enabled for all events
with the exception of Network events.
The following actions are supported for select events: snapshot or video clip recording
to the microSD card, Audio Out, On-screen Display and Email. Alarm Out can also be
enabled for these events in the Alarm setup tab
(See Section 6.5 for more information).
Note:
All camera events configured in this setup tab and all linked actions are
not related to SRX-Pro Server event detection or video recording and function
independently.
To enable supported event detection and linked camera actions, the following
conditions must be met:
•
MicroSD card (not supplied) must be inserted into the microSD slot on the camera.
•
Email SMTP settings are required for all Email actions and must be configured in
this tab.
•
At least one H264 stream must be enabled in the Video tab for video microSD
(edge) recording.
•
At least one MJPEG stream must be enabled for snapshot email or microSD (edge)
recording.
•
Audio Output device must be correctly installed and connected to Audio Out port
on the camera during installation stage, if using.
•
Audio Out sounds must be configured in the Alarm tab, if using.
