DB60 Gooseneck
Bracket OR Pendant Pole Mount
These installation methods are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. i3’s
DB60 Gooseneck Bracket or the rigid 3/4” pipe with the conduit fitting for pole mount
installations are not supplied with the camera.
Important. Please Read:
•
It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure that the mounting surface is
suitable for the chosen installation method.
•
Based on installation location and surface type, supplied screws and
anchors may not be adequate.
•
Mounting hardware is site-specific and may need to be supplied by the
installer.
•
Use silicone sealant on all threads (locations indicated on the diagram) and
use screws with the ‘O’ ring to maintain IP67 rating when installing outside.
Prepare the Mounting Surface / Install DB60 or mounting pole.
1. (For installation with DB60 Gooseneck bracket)
Install the i3 Goose-neck bracket (DB60) on the wall surface using the hardware
and instructions supplied with the goose-neck bracket.
2. (For Pole Mount installations)
Use a 3/4” Electrical EMT Conduit Fitting with a rigid 3/4” pipe for this type of
installation.
3. For both DB60 Wall Mount and Pendant Pole Mount installations, camera cabling is
to be routed through the camera’s top conduit.
Disassemble the Camera:
4. Disassemble the camera by removing the dome bubble. Use the provided security
Torx bit to loosen three silver screws securing the dome bubble to the camera’s
mounting base. Do not completely remove the screws from the bubble. Lift the
dome bubble off and set aside.
5. Loosen three silver screws attaching camera to the back box. Remove camera’s
back box.
Install the Back Box:
6. Attach DB78BB back box to the threaded end of the goose-neck bracket DB60
OR the 3/4” Electrical EMT Conduit Fitting and rotate clockwise to attach the two
together. Use silicone sealer as indicated on the diagram to maintain IP67 rating
when installing outside.
Install the Camera:
7. Insert the microSD card into the microSD slot on the camera module (if using).
8. Route the camera cabling through the top conduit and through the goose-neck
bracket DB60 OR the 3/4” rigid pipe.
