Workshop Manual Ed. 07-2012

• Electronic control unit (5) positioning

Control unit installed with flat side upwards.

• Voltage regulator (6) positioning

Positioned on the left side of the steering tube.

• Securing the starter motor/solenoid starter cable

Connect the starter motor/solenoid starter cable (7) as shown in the figure.

• Securing the engine ground to chassis and engine ground to battery

cables (8)

The engine ground to chassis and engine ground to battery cables are secured

to the timing chain tensioner screw.
