ENGINE REASSEMBLY

Workshop Manual Ed. 07-2012

Gear shift control assembly

Refit the spring abutment pin (1) using a 12 mm wrench (apply Loctite 243 and

tighten to 20 Nm, 2.0 Kgm, 14.5 ft/lb).

Install ratchet (2), spring (3), washer (4) and circlip (5).

Install the selector drum (6) making sure the tab (7) locates in the recess (8) and

secure drum with its screw (9). (Apply Loctite 243, tighten to 20 Nm, 2.0 Kgm,

14.5 ft/lb, use 12 mm wrench).

Engage the spring (3).
