1.7.2 Logging in to the OSM3.0
To configure the storage system, you can log in to the OSM3.0 through IE.
Prerequisite
You need to note the following when logging in to the OSM3.0:
l
To log in to the OSM3.0, you need to enter the IP address of the management network port.
The initial values of the IP address of the management network interface are
192.168.128.101
and
192.168.128.102
. The IP address of the management network
interface of the controller must be modified in CLI mode. For the IP address setting of the
controller management port, see the
OceanStor S5000 Series Storage System Command
Reference
.
l
It is suggested to log in to the OSM3.0 Web UI through the management network port on
the primary controller. In this way, the system can response quickly when you configure
the storage system.
l
The initial user name of the system administrator is
admin
. The initial password is
123456
. The initial user name of a common user is
viewer
. The initial password is
123456
. After the first login, you need to modify the password to ensure the system security.
The system allows the password of the admin user to be null. The admin user has the
permission to modify the password of the viewer user. The
viewer
user cannot modify the
password by himself/herself. You can modify the password on the CLI only. For details on
how to modify the password, see the
OceanStor S5000 Series Storage System Command

l
If enter the user name or password wrong, click

password. If you enter a wrong user name or password five times, the system locks the
login IP address. You can try log in to the system three minutes later.

After the first login, check the system time and the maintenance terminal time. If the
difference between the system time and the maintenance terminal time exceeds five
minutes, please choose
