Prerequisite

Before using the function of alarm by short messages, make sure that the GSM modem is properly
installed. To install the GSM modem, do as follows:

Insert the SIM card into the GSM modem.

Insert the GSM modem into the serial port of the storage device.

Connect the GSM modem to the power. If the red indicator of the GSM modem blinks, it
indicates that the installation is successful.

The sending channel of controller A and that of controller B must not be opened in the same
period.

CAUTION

When the system works with single controller:

If the sending channel status is

Open

, you can set it to

Close

. After that, you cannot set the

status to

Open

again.

If the status of the sending channel is

Close

, you cannot set it to

Open
