Item Method Expected Result Troubleshooting
Check the
condensate water
pan. There is no scale. Clean the condensate water pan.
Check the
humidifier
drainage. Switch the
humidifier manual
drainage lever to
I: Manual
humidifier drain
,
and verify that the
water drainage is
smooth (water
level in the
humidifier
cylinder gradually
drops).
If the drainage is abnormal:
 If the drainage solenoid
cannot be opened, check
whether the solenoid control
circuit is normal. If the
control circuit is normal,
replace the solenoid by
following instructions in
documents delivered with the
air conditioner.
 If the drainpipe is blocked,
clean the drainpipe.
 If the humidifier cylinder is
dirty and the water level
inside the cylinder exceeds
the 4/5 line, replace the
humidifier cylinder by
following instructions in the
air conditioner user manual.
Check the
humidifier water
refill. Switch the manual
drainage lever to
O: Normal
humidifying
, and
verify that water
can be refilled to
the humidifier
smoothly.
 If the water inlet solenoid
cannot be opened, replace it
by following instructions in
documents delivered with the
air conditioner.
 If the water inlet pipe is
blocked, clean the pipe.
 If the humidifier cylinder is
dirty and the water level
inside the cylinder exceeds
the 4/5 line, replace the
humidifier cylinder by
following instructions in the
air conditioner user manual.
Check the thermal
insulation foam of
the water inlet
pipe, drainpipe,
and vapor hose of
the humidifier. The thermal
insulation foam is
intact. Replace by following
instructions in
5.2.6 Replacing a
Thermal Insulation Layer .
Check the interior
of the humidifier
cylinder. The interior is free
from scale.  Remove the humidifier
cylinder and wash it using
20% acetic acid solution.
