Documents required: collector port layout diagram, documents delivered with the ECC500
collector, initial configuration parameters for the management system

Skill requirement: weak-current engineer

For the diagram and table, see the initial configuration guide.

Procedure

Step 1

Remove all cables and mark the cables clearly.

Step 2

Remove the four captive screws from the ECC500 collector using a Phillips screwdriver, as
shown in

Figure 5-26

Removing the faulty ECC500 collector

Step 3

Install a new collector, and tighten the screws in reverse order of

Step 4

Reconnect all cables based on the cable labels.

Step 5

Start the ECC500 collector and check that the new collector is working properly.

If the power indicator on the main control module of the ECC500 collector is on and the ECC500
collector is communicating properly with the management system, the ECC500 collector is working
properly.

Step 6

Configure the ECC500 collector and ports based on the management system initial
configuration table for the solution in use.
