Defining a new vNet via GUI
Create a vNet and name it “vNet-PROD-1”
•
Login to Virtual Connect
•
On the Virtual Connect Manager screen, click Define, Ethernet Network to create a vNet
•
Enter the Network Name of “vNet-PROD-1”
a.
Note; select Smart Link, but do not select Private Networks
•
Select Add Port, then add the following ports;
a.
Enclosure 1, Bay 1, Port 1
b.
Enclosure 1, Bay 1, Port 2
•
Leave Connection Mode as Auto
•
Select Apply
Create a vNet and name it “vNet-PROD-2”
•
Enter the Network Name of “vNet-PROD-1”

Note; select Smart Link, but do not select Private Networks

Select Add Port, then add the following ports;
a.
Enclosure 2, Bay 2, Port 1
b.
Enclosure 2, Bay 2, Port 2

Leave Connection Mode as Auto
•
Select Apply
