Vehicle Care
Warning (Continued)
Do not get under a vehicle that is
supported by a jack. No person
should place any portion of their
body under a vehicle that is
supported by a jack.
The vehicle has a compact/
temporary spare wheel. Drive
carefully and do not exceed
80 km/h as the tyre size is
different to the other types on the
vehicle.
Although the spare tyre was fully
inflated when the vehicle was
new, it can lose air over time.
Check the inflation pressure
regularly.
After installing the spare tyre on
the vehicle, stop as soon as
possible to check the inflation
pressure is correct. Have the flat
tyre repaired or replaced and
installed back on the vehicle as
soon as possible.
Note
The compact spare is for temporary
use only. Replace the compact
spare tyre with a full-size tyre as
soon as you can.
1. Park the vehicle on a hard,
level surface in a safe location.
2. Perform a safety check before
proceeding. See
3. Turn the wheel wrench
anticlockwise to loosen all the
wheel nuts, but do not remove
them yet.
4. Place the jack near the
flat tyre.
Caution
Make sure that the jack lift head
is in the correct position or you
may damage your vehicle. The
repairs would not be covered by
your warranty.
5. Position the jack lift head at the
jack location nearest the
flat tyre.
