REPLACEMENT/INSTALLATION OR ADDITONAL POWER SUPPLIES

5.4.1 GS4000-80E1

You can add or replace a power supply without powering off the device.

WARNING: THE ADDITIONAL INSTALLATION OR THE REPLACEMENT OF A POWER

SUPPLY SHOULD BE DONE BY A TRAINED ENGINEER OR A QUALIFIED

MAINTENANCE PERSON.

NOTE: When installing another power supply, remove the dummy blank panel.

Store the removed panel safely, so that it doesn’t get bent or lost.

(1) Removal of a Power Supply

Comply with the following procedure when removing a Power Supply.

Step 1

Set the switch of the power supply targeted for replacement to OFF.
