3.3 THE SETUP TERMINAL AND CABLE CONNECTIONS
3.3.1 Setup Terminal
(1) Specifications for Setup Terminals and Operation Terminals (for connection to the CONSOLE
port of the GS4000)
When connecting setup terminals or operation terminals to the CONSOLE ports of the GS4000,
prepare a personal computer or a workstation that supports the following features mentioned
in Table 3.3-1 below.

When connecting operation terminals to the CONSOLE (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX) ports of
GS4000, prepare a personal computer or a workstation that supports the following features
mentioned in Table 3.3-2 below.
