3.2.12 OC-48c POS Single-mode Optical Fiber Cable

This is used for the connection with OC-48c POS interface (SFP-P48SR, SFP-P48LR).
The boundary with OC-48c POS is the connector on GS4000.
In case of using SFP-P48SR, the maximum transmission distance between the devices with an
optic fiber which core/clad diameter is 10/125

m (wave length: 1310nm) is 2km.
In case of using SFP-P48LR, the maximum transmission distance between the devices with an
optic fiber which core/clad diameter is 10/125
μ
m (wave length: 1310nm) is 40km.
Figure 3.2-13 shows the rough sketch of the cable, and Table 3.2-19/3.2-20 show the
specification of optic fiber interfaces.
