14.2 9420 BATTERY PACK

CAUTION

･

Do not unwrap the battery pack.

･

Keep used batteries out of the reach of children.

Dispose of used batteries according to their type in the

prescribed manner and in the proper location.

･

Only use the specified 9418

ｰ

10 AC ADAPTER(PSA-

30U-120, PHIHONG) for charging.

NOTE

･

Always carry out battery charging at an ambient
temperature between 10

℃

and 40

℃

. Outside this range,

not only is the charging capacity reduced, but also there
is a possibility of reduced performance or electrolyte
leakage.

･

The battery capacity is reduced as a result of self-
discharge. Always carry out battery charging before
initial use.

･

Before storing the unit, remove the battery pack from the
unit.

･

If the 8804 shuts down becuase the batteries are
exhausted, it still continues to consume a very small
amount of power. After the shutdown, be sure to turn the
power switch off and remove the battery pack from the
unit.

･

When not in use for a long time, remove the battery
packs before storage.

･

The 9420 BATTERY PACK has a tendency to self-
discharge. When the battery pack is in long-term storage,
recharge about once every two months. If stored long-
term in the discharged state, the battery pack
characteristics will be impaired.

･

If the battery capacity remains very low after correct
recharging, the useful battery life is at an end.
