8.4.1 Using Modem Script to Manage the Modem

I. Configuring a Modem to adapt the baudrate

1) Network

requirements

The AUX port of the XE IP PBX is connected to a Modem. The system uses standard

AT commands to negotiate a baudrate with the Modem. It sends the "AT" command

through the port to the Modem. If an “OK” is received from the Modem, the system

considers that the Modem can automatically adapt to the corresponding baudrate.

Then, the system writes and saves the rate configuration to the Modem with the AT

command “AT&W”.
