Connecting the AUX cable
Overview
An AUX console cable is an 8-core shielded cable, with a crimped RJ-45 connector at one end for
connecting to the AUX port of the router, and DB-25 and DB-9 male connectors at the other end for
connecting to the serial port of the modem.

Plug the DB-9 or DB-25 male connector at one end of the AUX cable into the serial port of the
modem.
2.
Plug the RJ-45 connector of the AUX cable into the AUX port of the router.
