Grounding the router 

 

WARNING! 

Correctly connecting the router grounding cable is crucial to lightning protection and EMI protection.

 

To connect the grounding cable: 

1. 

Remove the grounding screws from the grounding terminal on the rear panel of the router 
chassis. 

2. 

Use the grounding screws to attach the lug of the grounding cable to the grounding terminal and 
fasten the screws. 

3. 

Connect the other end of the grounding cable to the grounding strip of the rack.
