Cable bundling example (1)
z
The bending radius in the middle of the cables must not be less than twice the
cable diameter. Where the cables are let out of connectors, the bending radius of
the cables must not be less than 5 times of its cable diameter.
z
Different types of cables (power cables, signal cables, grounding wires, etc.)
should be routed and bundled separately in the cabinet. If they are close to one
another, you can route them in a cross over manner. In the case of parallel routing,
the space between the power cables and the signal cables should be at least 30
mm (1.2 in.).
z
The cable clamp rails and cable management ducts inside and outside the cabinet
should be smooth and free of sharp edges or tips;
z
The metal cable management holes should have a smooth and fully rounded
surface or lined with insulating bushing;
z
Use the right type of cable ties to bundle the cables. Never bundle the cables with
joined ties. H3C provides cable ties of the following specifications: 100 × 2.5 mm
(3.9 × 0.1 in.) and 150 × 3.6 mm (5.9 × 0.1 in);
z
Cut off extra parts of the cable ties neatly after bundling the cables, leaving no
sharp tips, as shown in
