Install the right tray-mounted slide rail in the rack with the same method as the left
side. Keep the two sides at the same horizontal level, as shown in
Figure 3-11 .

2) Lift the IX1000 with another person and slowly carry it in front of the rack.
3) Lift the IX1000 a little higher than the predefined installation position and put the
end part of the device onto the tray-mounted slide rails. Uplift the front part a little
bit and gently push the device to make it slide slowly along the slide rails. Stop till
the mounting brackets of the IX1000 chassis is against the front mount angles of
the rack.
4) Adjust the horizontal position of the IX1000 to align the oval holes on the mounting
bracket of the chassis with the holes on the mount angles. Use screws to fix the
mounting brackets to the captive nuts on the mount angles to complete the
installation, as shown in
Figure 3-12 .
