A.4 Affixing Labels
After printing or writing labels, peel them off the base sheet and affix them to cables.
The following paragraphs describe the methods of affixing the two types of labels.
A.4.1 Labels for Signal Cables
I. Determining the label position
By default, this type of label is affixed 2 cm away from the connector of signal cables.
In exceptional cases, avoid affixing labels to the position where the cable is bent or
other positions that affect the installation of cables.
As shown by “1- Position of the label on the cable” in
, determine the
position of the label on the cable. After the label is affixed to the cable, the printing
area faces to the right or downwards. That is, the label faces to the right when the
cable is laid vertically, and downwards when the cable is laid horizontally. To make the
label face downward, rotate the three diagrams in
by 90 degrees clockwise
respectively to affix the label. (The case that the cable is laid horizontally is not
described in the following two steps.)
