Assign ports to zones

1. In SANsurfer Switch Manager, expand the tree view and select a Fibre Channel switch. For the

purposes of this procedure, this switch is designated as switch A.

The Faceplate display opens.

2. Open the

Switch

menu and select

Switch Properties

The Switch Properties dialog box opens.

3. Set

Domain ID

4. Set

Domain ID lock

Enable

5. Click

SANsurfer Switch Manager updates the switch. When a message box reports status complete,
click

The Switch Properties dialog box closes.

6. Open the Zoning menu, and select

Edit Zoning

to open the Edit Zoning dialog.
