Interference
☞
To maintain measurement accuracy, periodically clean the
sensor(s). Operating experience will help you determine
when to clean the sensor (weekly, monthly, etc.). Use the
recommended cleaning procedure described in the sensor
operating manual.
Recommendation:
Do not run sensor or interconnect ca-
bles in the same conduit with AC or DC power wiring.
Maintenance Tip!
Excess cable should not be coiled
near motors or other equipment that may generate
electrical or magnetic fields. Cut cables to proper length
during installation to avoid unnecessary inductive pickup
(“electrical noise” may interfere with sensor signal).

Operation
3.3 Verifying Analyzer
Operation
When experiencing problems, try to determine the primary
measurement system component causing the problem (sen-
sor, analyzer or interconnect cable, if used).
1. Verify that line power exists at the appropriate analyzer
TB3 terminals.
2. Check all analyzer cable connections to ensure they
are properly connected.
To verify sensor operation, refer to the procedure in the
troubleshooting section of the sensor operating manual.
This procedure, which requires a frequency generator, veri-
fies operation of the Sensor A measuring channel. Verify
operation of other sensor channels in the same way using
their respective terminals and menu screens.
WARNING:
DISCONNECT LINE POWER TO AVOID THE
POSSIBILITY OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK.
