5.2 OFFSET BY or SET TO
Calibration Adjustment

A calibration adjustment can be made by using the
“OFFSET BY” or “SET TO” method. In either case, keep the
sensor in the process measuring the flow rate.
This proce-
dure is only for Sensor A. Make calibration adjustments
for other sensors in the same way using their respective
sensor menu screens.

“OFFSET BY” Method:
Requires entering an offset
value (“ + ” or “ - ”) to linearly offset the measure-
ment. A positive offset adds to actual measurement;
a negative offset subtracts from measurement.
•
“SET TO” Method:
Requires entering a known
measurement value from a reference flow measuring
device to linearly offset actual measurement.

With the desired method displayed, press
ENTER key
to enter this selection and display a screen like
, which shows the active measurement
reading.

Press
ENTER key
again to hold analog outputs and
relays at their present states, and display one of these
screens:

when “OFFSET BY” method was
selected. Use

to adjust the displayed
offset to a desired “ + ” or “ - ” value.
