Operating Test
6.8 EPROM VERSION
Checking
Pulse output A and B contact closures can be tested to
confirm their operation.
These instructions test Pulse A.
Test Pulse B in the same way using its respective menu
screens.
1.
With the
top-level menu screen dis-
played, use

to select the “PULSE A” line.
2.
Connect a continuity meter across appropriate Pulse
Output A terminals to monitor the contact closure test.
3.
Press
ENTER key
to display a screen like
. Use
arrow keys
to adjust the dis-
played time to the desired test duration time.
4.
Press
ENTER key
to start the test. During the entered
test duration time, confirm that the contact closure has
occurred.
5.
To return to the TEST/MAINT top-level menu screen,
press
ESC key
or
ENTER key
.
You can check the version of EPROM used in the analyzer.
1. With the
top-level menu screen displayed,
use

to select the “EPROM VERSION” line.
2. Press
ENTER key
to view the EPROM version screen.
3. To return to the TEST/MAINT top-level menu screen,
press
ESC key
or
ENTER key
