Specify selection flag

Animals to be segregated must be allocated a selection flag.

The selection flag is assigned using the milking control unit or DairyPlan.

Herd management program

Selection flags set on the control unit can only be used for segregation
methods 1 or 2.

Deletes the current selection flags in the herd management program

Selection flags to be used

● Selection flags are saved in the herd management program

7 - 9

Selection flags for special functions

● Selection flags are only saved temporarily in the control unit
● Cannot be used for the following animal segregation systems:

 AutoSelect 3000 / AutoSelect 5000 / AutoSelect 5000 HD / AutoSelect MI: 

The selection flags work according to the segregation method:

Segregation method

1

Segregation of individual animals

● Segregation flag remains valid after each segregation

2

Single segregation of individual animals after segregation date

● Selection flag is only valid for one segregation
● current date is entered automatically
● Selection flag and segregation date are deleted automatically after segregation.

● Animal is segregated when it next enters the segregation system

Note:

If a time slot has been set for the segregation method (e.g. 6:00 - 10:00)
and the selection flag is specified after 10:00 o'clock, the animal will not
be segregated until the next time it is identified within that time slot.
