Non-return gate
Note:
A non-return gate might have a negative effect on the flow of animals!
Note the following:
● At the beginning, the cows have to get used to the non-return gate and often
just stand in front of it because they have not yet found out how the gate opens.
● This means that milking personnel have to leave the operator pit in order to get
the cows moving again.
Vacuum supply
Variations in the vacuum when the entrance gate and segregation gates are
actuated should be kept as small as possible!
● Implementation of a vacuum supply line in a milking parlour system as a ring line
● Fitting a vacuum supply to the animal segregation system using a T-piece
● Diameter of vacuum supply line to animal segregation system: 2 in
● Keep vacuum lines as short as possible!
