B1
Close entrance gate
Confirmation that when the identification signal is received, there is an animal
within the identification field.
B2
(2x)
Confirmation that the animal has left the segregation area.
While a light scanner is recording an animal none of the segregation gates can
move. An acknowledgement is given as soon as all the light scanners are free.
B3
Confirmation that the animal to be segregated has gone far enough forward for
the segregation gate to swing open.
If there are 2 animals in the segregation area, the segregation gate moves when
the light scanner becomes free.
Observe when aligning the light scanners:
● The smallest animal must always be recorded.
● The light scanners must be fitted and adjusted so that they reliably identify the
animals that pass by them.
● Light scanners must only be tripped by the movement of animals and not by
moving or passing components or reflecting surfaces (e.g. water on the
standing/walking surfaces).
Align the light scanners with a slight incline towards standing or walking
surfaces.

Attention!
Dirty or incorrectly aligned light scanners can cause malfunctioning of the
segregation gate!
