Command Shows the
Motherboard as Faulty Instead of the DIMM (CR
6582853)
This issue is resolved by updating the system firmware to 7.1.6.d or later.
In a system with DIMMs or PCIe adapters that have been faulted by PSH (Predictive
Self-Healing) diagnosis on the host, the ALOM
showfaults
command displays the
faulty FRU as the motherboard (
/SYS/MB
) instead of the DIMM or PCIe adapter.
This problem will occur for the following PSH Message-IDs (MSGID):
