– Bacterial growth in the reverse osmosis system depends on the
individual components, and the type and time of use. Bacterial
growth in the system must be prevented by continuous operation of
the system with a minimum of idle times and by preventive measures
such as chemical disinfection or heat disinfection.
– Samples for microbial testing must therefore be collected from the
system and from the individual parts of the system in accordance
with the applicable regulations. As the complete system consists of
a number of smaller systems, the responsible organization is
responsible for the complete system.
– The key required to open the door to the control cabinet must not
remain on the system and access to the key must be restricted to the
certified service technicians.
