4.10. 

Replacing the air pump

Preparations

1. Remove all covers except for the right cover.
2. Unscrew the fan unit and take it out.
3. Cut open the cable tie on the cable harness.

Removal

Replacing the air pump
1. Unscrew the air pump mount (3 screws, TX20).
2. Disconnect power supply connector X6.
3. Remove the hose clip and pull off the hose.
4. Unscrew the air pump from the mount (3 screws, TX10).
Installation

1. Apply a light coat of Loctite 221 sealer to the threads of the 3 

fastening screws for the air pump.

2. Screw the air pump onto the mount with 3 screws.
3. Apply a light coat of Loctite 221 sealer to the threads of the 3 

fastening screws for the mount.

4. Screw on the air pump mount with 3 screws.
5. Connect power supply connector X6.
6. Slide the hose onto the new air pump and secure it with the hose clip.

NOTICE 

To obtain more space, you can pull off connector GX1.
