7. Attach the supplied stop ring. Do not mix up the stop rings in the
process.
8. Push the motor flush against the cast part.
4.5.3.2.2 Checking the positioning
Once you have installed the motor as described above, you now need to
check the motor position. When moving, the gear wheel must not collide
with the interior of the housing.
Check that there are no visible gaps between the motor and the housing.
The motor must sit flush against the housing.
If necessary, remove the motor again and re-install as described above.
4.5.3.2.3 Fastening the stepping motor
1. Loosely attach the screws.
2. Attach the power cable and the encoder cable.
3. Attach the protecting cover using two screws.
4. Start the service software.
5. In the
"Test selection"
window, select the
"L-motor adjustment "
function.
6. Select the motor that you have replaced and click on
"Start"
.

The test begins.
7. During the test, tighten the four screws of the motor crosswise.
8. In the service software, click the button marked
"Stop"
.

The test is stopped.

Do not tighten the screws
The motor must be able to move slightly in order to establish the axial
alignment of motor and spindle.
CAUTION
Do not interfere with the unit
Do not intervene in the unit during the test.
