System Setup, Maintenance and Cleaning

3.1

Voltage supply

Electrical power can be supplied to the instrument in the following ways:



with AC adapter (9 V 150 mA, 100 V - 230 V),



4 x 1.5 V batteries (AA or mignon) or



4 x 1.5 V NiMh rechargeable batteries, 2100 mAh (AA or mignon).

3.1.1

Power Connection

To connect the instrument to the line voltage via the AC adapter, the AC
adapter must be connected to the instrument and to the line power outlet.
The instrument must be switched off for this purpose!

To avoid damage to the instrument or wrong measurement results due to
a wrong line voltage, the instruments must be connected to a power outlet
only via the AC adapter provided by FISCHER. The line voltage must agree
with the line voltage rating stated on the nameplate of the AC adapter.
