INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Pressure cooking
1.
Place the ingredients you are going to use inside the cooker, close it and place the rotary valve
correctly on the vent. Then place the pressure cooker on the heat source at maximum power.
2.
After a certain time, the pressure that builds up inside the cooker will make the rotary
valve turn and steam will start to come out. When this occurs, lower the heat in order to
maintain a constant but gentle release of steam.
3.
Then start calculating the cooking time. (See chart with approximate cooking times).
4.
During the cooking operation, it is NORMAL to see small quantities of steam escaping
from the safety valve.
5.
If you are using a gas cooker, adjust the flame and place the pressure cooker in the centre of
the burner to prevent the flame from extending beyond the base of the cooker. This will save
energy and prevent damage to the handles on the sides and the silicone rubber sealing ring.
Remember:
• Never leave an empty cooker on a heat source.
• If you detect a problem while cooking, remove the cooker from the heat source and
let it cool down completely.
• To prevent damage to the cooker, add the minimum recommended quantity of water
or liquid. NEVER LEAVE THE COOKER ON THE HEAT SOURCE WITHOUT ANY LIQUID.

1
Make sure that the silicone rubber sealing ring fits perfect-
ly inside the inner ring around the lid.
2
With the knob in the lower position (rotating in an
anti-clockwise direction) (Fig. 6), place the lid on
the body (Fig. 7), coupling the ends of the clamp bar to
each lug and make sure that it is properly inserted by
sliding your fingers around it.
3
Turn the know clockwise (Fig. 8). Close it firmly by tur-
ning the knob between 1, 1/2 and 2 turns until the clamp
bar is fixed below the lugs and the lid is completely closed.
4
Place the rotary valve on the vent (Fig. 9).
