AirKey wall reader

Please note the assembly manual enclosed in the packaging to assemble the AirKey wall
reader. Our homepage additionally provides a drilling template or the assembly video at

http://video.evva.com/tutorials/airkey/eawlru/eawlru-1/en/

AirKey wall readers are always delivered ex works in factory state.

>

Media in factory state can unlock locking components in factory state.

>

Smartphones with installed AirKey app and enabled maintenance mode
can unlock locking components in factory state

>

Unlocking attempts are not recorded in factory state.

>

The lock is not securely operated until you have added the AirKey wall
reader to a locking system.

>

One control unit is required per reader unit.

>

The control unit must be installed indoors, in a secure area.

>

Check the cabling on the wall reader and control unit.

Observe the notes in the assembly manual during assembly.
Block the door during (dis)assembly to prevent inadvertently locking your-
self in/out.

4.11

Adding locking components

Locking components are added to the locking system using smartphones with construc-
tion site authorisation or a coding station. For this purpose, they must be set to factory
state.

You must comply with the following requirements to add locking compo-
nents using your smartphone:

>

The AirKey app has been installed.

>

An active Internet connection is available.

>

The smartphone has been registered within the locking system.

>

The smartphone has been assigned to a person.

>

Maintenance mode has been activated on the smartphone.
