Please note that a door is not automatically locked after having closed it. Doors must
be locked manually or using a corresponding system.
>
AirKey wall readers and AirKey control units are exclusively intended to actuate elec-
tronic locking components and technical equipment. EVVA
shall assume no liability or accept warranty claims for the correct function of the ac-
tuated devices themselves.
>
Please note that locking components must be removed using the dedicated special
tools only. Damage caused by using other tools or incorrect removal shall render any
liability, warranty or potentially separate guarantee claims void.
Cleaning information
>
Regularly lubricate locking components – at minimum as part of battery replace-
ments. For this purpose, use the lubricants recommended by EVVA only.
>
Use a soft, lint-free cloth and soapy water to clean any visible areas of the locking
components. Do not use corrosive products or sprays that may be aggressive on
metal surfaces, plastics or sealants and seals. Ensure (particularly when the thumb
turn has been removed) no liquids penetrate the cylinder and that visible areas of the
electronic thumb turn must exclusively be cleaned when the thumb turn is not open.
Disposal information
>
Electronic locking components must not be disposed of as part of unsorted household
waste.
>
Comply with the country-specific regulations regarding the disposal of electrical
equipment and correctly dispose of components.
