Activating PIN codes

Before being able to complete your smartphone registration you are prompted to activate
encryption by specifying a PIN code. You can retrospectively activate the PIN code if you
failed to set it upon registration.

EVVA recommends assigning a PIN code. Make sure your PIN code is as
long as possible and you do not disclose the PIN code.

The PIN code is only required upon unlocking locking components. There is
no confirmation within the app indicating that the PIN code has been en-
tered correctly. PIN codes may have already been defined and saved be-
forehand (see

).
